PRIVACY NOTICE

Your Data

What we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Qualitech Mission Critical Ltd. (CRO 814295) is the controller of the personal data collected through qualitech.ie. Our registered office is 51 Bracken Road, Dublin 18, D18 CV48, Ireland.

You can reach us at info@qualitech.ie or on +353 1 908 1916. We handle personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Enquiries. Your name and email address, and if you choose to give them, your company, phone number and details of your project. This comes from the contact form or from emails you send us.
  • CVs and job applications. Whatever you send us, usually your CV, contact details, experience and qualifications.
  • Website statistics. We count page views, the sites that sent visitors to us, and device and browser types. Our statistics tool doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors.

This website isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect their data. We don't ask for special category data such as health information, so please leave it out of anything you send us.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • Replying to enquiries and preparing proposals: our legitimate interests, and steps you ask us to take before a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
  • Considering you for roles: our legitimate interest in recruiting, and steps you ask us to take before a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
  • Running and securing the website and understanding how it is used: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Meeting our legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).

We don't make automated decisions or profile anyone, and we won't send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We never sell personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who act for us: Cloudflare for website hosting, security and statistics, Formspree for the contact form, and Microsoft for email and document storage.
  • A client, if you've applied for a role and agreed that we can put you forward for it.
  • Professional advisers or public authorities, where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the EEA

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or by Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies

We don't use cookies for statistics, advertising or tracking, so you won't see a cookie banner here. Our fonts are hosted on our own site rather than loaded from a third party. Our host may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from automated attacks, and that doesn't need consent. If this ever changes, we'll update this notice and ask for your consent where it's needed.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: for as long as we need to deal with your enquiry and follow up, and no more than 24 months after our last contact. If the enquiry turns into a working relationship, our client record retention periods apply instead.
  • CVs: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Website statistics: held in aggregate only, with nothing that identifies you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@qualitech.ie and we will reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28 (dataprotection.ie).

Security

The website runs over HTTPS. Enquiries and CVs are kept on access-controlled systems protected by multi-factor authentication, and only the people who need them can see them. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The current version, and the date it was last reviewed, will always be on this page.

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Accessibility

What we do to make this website usable for everyone, and how to tell us when it falls short.

Our approach

We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we've done

  • A clear heading structure on every page, so screen readers can move around easily.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Text and background colours checked against the WCAG AA contrast levels.
  • Every link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard.
  • Animations stop if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Layouts that work on phones and when the page is zoomed to 200%.

Known limitations

Some of our LinkedIn post graphics include text inside the image. The posts themselves are hosted on LinkedIn, which is outside our control.

Tell us if something is hard to use

If you find anything on this website difficult to use, or you need information in a different format, email info@qualitech.ie or call +353 1 908 1916. We'll aim to reply within five working days.
